Product Description
What is Moly EP Grease?
Moly EP Grease is a premium quality bio-based/biodegradable, grease formulated with the best optimized Biotechbased™ USA-grown natural vegetable oils, lithium-based thickener and extreme pressure additives for maximum performance. Are designed to be biodegradable, aquatically non-toxic, not- bioaccumulative, and with no impact on plants as determined by known test methods. Nevertheless, the use of all of ELM products are subject to the local ordinances and ultimate responsibility for impact remains with the users.
What is EP Moly Grease used for?
Molybdenum disulfide (Moly) is a solid additive, most commonly used in extreme pressure applications and ideal for heavy load applications. The Moly particles are intended to fill in tiny imperfections in the machined surfaces and protect against “welding” during shock loading and heavy loads; however, the material is also known to stick to surfaces and cause a coating to build up. Prevents rust and corrosion.
What are the benefits of EP Moly Grease?
"• Fortified with molybdenum disulphide for added protection • Contains extreme pressure additives minimize friction and wear • Superior lubricity reduces heat and lessens energy consumption • Higher flash point than petroleum greases for increased safety • Biodegradable formula reduces damage to the environment • Meets EPA’s Environmental Preferable Purchasing (EPP) criteria • Manufactured from renewable USA-grown crop-based oils"
